The Whitstable Native has been a project that has been a long time in the making. From an initial concept of a magazine for locals to contribute to, to the online compendium as you see it now. The Whitstable Native is the place for the residents of Whitstable to publish their voice.

We hope that this publication and website will be the place for the town to spotlight the eclectic selection of talents and businesses that have made it the successful showcase, seaside town we all love and enjoy.

The Whitstable Native also provides a place for visitors to discover the wealth of events, individuals and traditions that our vibrant town has to offer. This is where Whitstable can finally blow its own trumpet (loudly)!

This compendium will forever be growing and evolving, just like the town it represents providing a snapshot in time for future generations and a place to publicise everything that our beautiful town has to offer.
